Analisis Kebijakan Luar Negeri Korea Selatan Terkait Pembatalan Pemutusan Pakta Intelijen General Security of Military Information Agreement dengan Jepang pada tahun 2019

Korea Selatan telah mengumumkan untuk tidak melanjutkan sebuah pakta perjanjian dengan Jepang yang disebut dengan General Security of Military Information Agreement pada Agustus 2019. Namun, Korea Selatan merubah keputusannya tersebut tiga bulan kemudian pada November 2019. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan alasan Korea Selatan yang tidak jadi menarik diri dari pakta pada tahun 2019. Pendekatan yang digunakan penulis dalam menyusun penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis fokus penelitian eksplanatif. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan konsep keamanan nasional dan teori kebijakan luar negeri oleh James N. Rosenau. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah alasan kepentingan keamanan nasional dari ancaman nuklir Korea Utara merupakan penyebab utama Korea Selatan tidak jadi menarik diri dari pakta. Selain itu, ada beberapa faktor yang mendorong Korea Selatan untuk tetap melanjutkan pakta dengan Jepang pada November 2019, yaitu faktor individu, peran, sosial, pemerintah dan sistemik.Downloads
