Hubungan antara Arab Saudi dengan Israel pasca Inisiatif Perdamaian Arab menunjukkan bahwa kedua negara tersebut sepakat untuk melakukan normalisasi hubungan. Salah satu bentuk normalisasi hubungan tersebut adalah terciptanya kerja sama pembangunan jalur kereta api yang menghubungkan Israel dengan Arab Saudi. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguak kepentingan Arab Saudi terhadap Israel dalam pembangunan jalur kereta api Israel-Arab Saudi pada tahun 2018. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Konsep yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah konsep kepentingan nasional dan konsep interdependensi untuk mencari tahu kepentingan Arab Saudi. Temuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa kepentingan Arab Saudi terhadap Israel dalam pembangunan jalur kereta api Israel-Arab Saudi pada tahun 2018 adalah upaya untuk mencapai visi Arab Saudi 2030 sebagai pemenuhan kepentingan ekonomi.Downloads
