Manuscript Categories

The SARPASS invites manuscripts in five categories:

  1. Research Article: Quantitative, qualitative, mixed-method, or integrative studies that demonstrate the engagement and/or intersection of religion, state, and society.
  2. Reflective Essay: Thought provoking examinations of current issues related to the engagement and/or intersection of religion, state, and society that are anchored in the literature.
  3. Dissertation Overview: Dissertation summaries of methods used to examine topics related to the engagement and/or intersection of religion, state, and society.
  4. Policy Brief: Document which outlines the rationale for choosing a particular policy alternative or course of actions in a current policy debate related to the engagement and/or intersection of religion, state, and society.
  5. Book Review: Reviews of books related to the engagement and/or intersection of religion, state, and society that go beyond a mere description of the contents to analyze and glean implications for theory and practice.
